The ISA500 series of underwater altimeters introduce ground-breaking technology for highly stable altitude measurements with with optional integrated Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS). Broadband composite transducer together with an advanced digital acoustic engine provide the highest level of stability and range available from a 500kHz Altimeter. The Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) consists of the Micro-Electrical-Mechanical-System (MEMS) based gyros, accelerometers, and magnetometers. The outputs from each of these MEMS devices are fused together, providing highly stable Heading, Pitch & Roll. With the integrated AHRS, the ISA500 can compensate for pitch and roll during measurement, providing true altitude readings all the time. For applications that require altitude, heading, pitch, and roll, a single ISA500 can provide all of the data. The ISA500 is available in titanium or black acetal housing for different water depth applications(Available in 1000m, 6000m and 11,000m depth ratings). Both forward looking and right angle housing configurations are available. If no other attitude parameters are required, a model without integrated AHRS can be provided. Other OEM versions are also available upon request.
