German K.U.M underwater acoustic release device

K.U.M in Germany develops, designs, and manufactures highly specialized and long-life maritime equipment, such as complete seabed seismometer systems, landers, sediment samplers, nuclear storage systems (including pressure pipes, camera housings, shutter buttons, drives, hooks, rotating frames, etc.), and can also modify the equipment to meet customer requirements.

Acoustic release device is also one of KUM's main products. KUMQuat (Quality Control Acoustic Trigger/Converter) is a type of acoustic trigger device that is typically embedded in equipment carriers, OBS systems, or complete brackets. It is made entirely of titanium alloy and is suitable for deep-sea operations up to 6000 meters and deeper.

The triggering load of the light load trigger is 250kg (higher can be selected), and the triggering load of the heavy load trigger is 500kg (higher can be selected). Both types of trigger side bars can be fixed to the bracket. (Inline version)
