The deep-sea anchoring system, also known as the deep-sea submersible beacon system, mainly consists of measuring instruments, anchoring systems, and acoustic communication systems.

1) The measuring instrument consists of 2 ADCPs, multiple CTDs, multiple DVS, and multiple sensors.

2) The anchor system consists of one main float, wireless beacon and receiver, flashing beacon, multiple solid floats, multiple glass floats, three acoustic releases, one set of acoustic release parallel mechanism, Kevlar cable with protective sleeve, two swivel rings, stainless steel shackles, stainless steel anchor chains, heavy anchor, etc.

3) The acoustic communication system consists of a pair of acoustic communication machines and one set of underwater battery compartments.

In addition, a complete set of anchor systems can be configured from top to bottom, including large floating balls ADCP、 Small floating balls, various chemical sensors, sediment traps, acoustic release devices, and so on. The specific optional configurations are as follows:

Basic configuration: ADCP, CTD, pressure gauge, current meter, acoustic communication device, acoustic release device, float, swivel, anchor rope, heavy object, etc.

Equipment carried: sediment trap, turbidity meter PH、 Dissolved oxygen CO2、CH4、 Fluorescent chlorophyll, sensors, etc.

The main functions are:

1) The system adopts a single point tensioning anchor system, which is suitable for long-term observation in waters with a depth of 1500-6000m;

2) The main float can be equipped with 2 ADCPs; One unit measures the layered vertical current profile of the main float up to the sea surface;

Measure the vertical ocean current profile of the main float about 500m downwards with one unit.

3) Multiple CTDs can be configured on the anchor rope to measure the temperature, salinity, and pressure of seawater in the water layer of interest.

Multiple temperature sensors are installed on the anchor rope to intensively measure the seawater temperature of the water layer being monitored.

Multiple DVS are installed on the anchor rope to measure single point ocean current parameters (such as turbulence parameters) of the water layer of interest.

4) All measuring instruments used are powered by underwater battery packs and perform long-term, continuous measurements in a self capacitive manner.

5) Install one acoustic communication device underwater unit on the main float and integrate it with two ADCPs. Acoustic communication is carried out with the acoustic communication device placed on the scientific research vessel, and the data from the two 75KHz ADCPs is sent to the scientific research vessel.

Weihai Ocean can determine the model and quantity of relevant sensors to be installed based on user survey purposes, data, and sample requirements, and provide an overall solution for the anchoring system. Contact phone number: 021-64050257, email: mail@seawardtech.com.cn .
