Impact Subsea ISP360 Small Deep Sea Profile Sonar
ISP360 is a high-performance mechanical scanning profile sonar that excels in measurement accuracy and distance, setting new standards.
ISP360 is a highly compact and energy-efficient 1 °/2 ° profile sonar with a range of up to 80 meters and a timing accuracy of 0.35 millimeters. It provides sonar images covered with profile points.
Unlike imaging sonar, profile sonar has a very narrow conical acoustic beam. This is very suitable for taking slices of the surrounding environment and creating a set of distance measurements within the scanning area. With the movement of ISP360, these measurements can be stacked together to create a 3D point cloud of the underwater environment.
The rated depth of ISP360 is 4000 meters/13123 feet, with a titanium shell that can operate for many years.
In terms of acoustics, ISP360 can operate in the frequency range of 650kHz to 1.25MHz using continuous wave (CW), compressed high-intensity radar pulse (CHIRP), or underwater signal scheme (IS3).
