The seabed water sampler K/MT 421 is suitable for multi depth seawater sampling operations, used to investigate the boundary layer between sediment and seabed water. This device was jointly developed by K.U.M and Alfred Wegener Institute and has been in use since 2001, extensively used in deep-sea sampling. It can perform high-resolution sampling of specific water layers in a very short period of time (a few minutes).
